OC Project 1

Okay, this is embarrassing, but it'd be wrong to exclude them. When I was a young child I didn't really have friends. I had a hard time blending in at my rather large elementary school. At the time I never slept well and this led me to lash out emotionally whether by bursts of anger or sobbing fits. Thinking back, I was a rather depressed young child, I didn't know I had some psychological issues at the time, and if I did I would've been too young to understand, in case, I felt as if no one in the world understood me. (In case your curious I suffer insomnia, depression, anxiety, and some other things :/) My parents had recently gotten a divorce and though at the time I didn't understand the ramifications of that, and even though I saw them both, it did create a void in my life. To counter my loneliness I created Heart and Daddy Cat. I was very close to my Dad, but he had to work a lot, I think that's why the cat was "Daddy", I don't really recall how I came up with heart. They were imaginary friends. I made up stories with them, of all the adventures we'd go on. Any object lying around was fair game for villainy, thus we had so strange villains like a guy with a frying pan for a head. In a way, these two are how I got my start in writing. My Dad used to listen to me tell stories and write them down. I wish I knew where those were to be honest because I don't really remember much of those stories now. Considering the rough time in my life that these two got me through a rough time in my young life I felt it would be wrong not to include them in this project. If I can find an old picture or something I'll upload it too.
